In the course of the excursion to this wonderful purlieu you will visit the Pavlovsk Palace and the Park. The Palace itself served as the Royal residence not all that long (only five years), and, nevertheless, it is deservedly deemed "pearl in the necklace" of the palace and park ensembles of St. Petersburg. The excursion to the Grand Palace, built for Paul I, includes a visit to the Italian hall, the famous Emperor's library and the Temple of Friendship.
