Gatchina

 Amazing, mysterious and at the same time romantic Gatchina deserves a place on a 'must-see' list. During the course of the tour you will be able to walk through the magnificent halls of the Palace, go down into the mysterious underground passage and, undoubtedly, enjoy the scenery of the wonderful Park.
The backstory of the Gatchina Palace owners is striking as well. Initially, the estate was purchased by Catherine II and presented as a gift to her minion count Grigory Orlov. Later on, starting with Emperor Paul I, all Russian emperors were the owners of the Gatchina Palace.
